Chris Brogan's newest book is out - "Trust Agents: Using the Web to Build Influence, Improve Reputation, and Earn Trust." Like all of Chris' books, I'm sure this one will be great.
Chris started thinking about this concept back in September 2008 and wrote a blog post called "Thinking About Trust Agents." He defines a "Trust Agent" as “people who use the web in a very human way to build influence, reputation, awareness, and who can translate that into some kind of business value."
What Chris calls "Trust Agents," we call "Advocates." But it's not just a matter of semantics. We agree with Chris that these agents can "translate into some kind of business value." And that's how Advocates differ. Advocates not only build influence, reputation and awareness, but can generate leads and sales.
We highly recommend you read Chris Brogans's new book AND find out about Advocates.
